Goals
The objective is to create and develop real interdisciplinarity between different SHS disciplines (law, history, sociology, political science), and ICST disciplines to meet major societal challenges:

Territory and environment
Analysis of the metabolic city as a superposition of visible and invisible networks, sizing and evolution of public infrastructures (energy, transport, roads) and renaturalization of the city. As well as territorial and environmental inequalities in terms of security.

Mobility
Analysis of mobility and transport, operational safety and appropriation of tomorrow's vehicles (autonomous, communicating, sustainable), and collaborative engineering. As well as the mobility of urban populations and trace analysis.

Real and virtual society
Research of the legal status of the data, and protection of privacy. As well as the renewal of markets and new technologies. And collective intelligence and social networks, with the analysis of uses, and the impact on identities.

Culture and Heritage
Research and conservation of cultural heritage, with new technologies and appropriation of digital urban cultural heritage for heritage data. As well as the media and communication, for the enhancement of heritage.
